“Patrick’s talk regarding Super Bowl advertising and the relative effectiveness of the marketing dollars was one of the most interesting seminars I have attended. His ability to completely engage the entire audience and speak credibly across the entire spectrum of marketing strategies provided the group with terrific insights and ideas to bring back into their respective client workplaces.
We held a Marketing Seminar for our clients in which Patrick Byers, of Outsource Marketing, spoke on the topic, “Marketing on a Shoestring Budget.”
I found Patrick to be very professional and focused on helping others achieve success in their businesses. He offered ideas to the small businesses owners to help them develop more effective marketing strategies.
The response from the attendees was very warm and appreciative. They rated the Seminar as “excellent” and included comments like:
“very knowledgeable speaker, character shines through”
“it was concise and to the point”

Patrick Byers was a specially invited speaker for our annual user conference held in Napa, California in May of 2007. Portions of our conference were directed specifically at helping our business partners develop their marketing acumen, and Patrick Byers presentation gave them a thorough understanding of the value, and potential pitfalls, of marketing in its many modalities. One of the most important aspects of a comprehensive marketing program Patrick elaborated on was good planning. Because the audience was comprised primarily of small business owners who struggle with planning, and funding, a comprehensive marketing strategy, Patrick was right on target with the subject. Many audience members walked away with a new attitude about marketing, and a commitment to do a better — and more measurable — job in the future.
Your presentation at the American Public Power Association’s annual conference was definitely the “spice” that the workshop needed. There was lots of “buzz” afterward about the content.

Patrick provided a thorough analysis of IABC/Seattle’s strategic advantages as an organization for professional communicators. He accurately compared IABC to similar organizations in the area and really helped our board understand what we had to offer that others did not. His presentation at our retreat was informative and entertaining. We used Patrick’s presentation to focus our efforts to recruit and retain members.
Patrick Byers’ presentation was most impressive and his practical advice will have lasting impact for our conference attendees, who wanted – and received – valuable tips on using e-mail to provide direct, clear, and effective communications to a variety of audiences. Many conference-goers said Patrick’s presentation was the high point of our meeting.
